Barcelona star agrees to join Atletico Madrid

Luis Suarez has agreed to join Atletico Madrid, as per Mundo Deportivo. The report claims that the Uruguayan striker is just waiting for Barcelona to release him before completing his move.

Atletico Madrid have agreed personal terms with Luis Suarez as per the report. However, before they can sign him, they need to offload Diego Costa – who is a target for Fenerbahce this summer.

Ronald Koeman is reportedly now keen on working with Luis Suarez at Barcelona. The striker has been informed that he is no longer required at the club and a move to Juventus was on the cards.

However, the delay in obtaining an Italian passport saw the hopes of a Serie A move diminish. Andrea Pirlo confirmed last night that the move was off and they will be looking elsewhere.

Luis Suarez also had an offer from Inter Miami but he has reportedly rejected that. The striker is looking to continue in Europe and is not willing to move to the MLS right now.
