Chelsea offered chance to sign Alessandro Bastoni as agent holds talks with two other Premier League clubs – Sources

Alessandro Bastoni is keen to leave Inter Milan this summer, and his agent has been searching for his next club

Bastoni was in talks to join Barcelona, but the move has now fallen through for the time being. The Catalan side are keen to sign a forward after Robert Lewandowski left the club and see that as their priority this summer.

Julian Alvarez remains their main aim this summer, with Joao Pedro as their Plan B. Chelsea are reluctant to sell the Brazilian, who see him as a key member of the squad after signing him in 2025.

Bastoni’s agent, Tulio Tinti, is now looking to find the Italian another club, and the Premier League is the defender’s choice.

Chelsea among clubs offered the chance to sign Alessandro Bastoni

Chelsea are keen on signing a defender this summer, and have now been offered the chance to sign Bastoni. The Italian is the first big name linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer, after the appointment of Xabi Alonso.

Inter Milan are open to selling the 27-year-old and have reportedly slapped a โ‚ฌ70 million price tag. The fee was quoted earlier this year, when Barcelona held talks with the San Siro side over the defender.

Apart from Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have also been offered the chance. Tinti is in talks with all three clubs, and talks are expected to continue for the next few weeks.

Reports in Spain suggest that Real Madrid are also keeping tabs, but The Sportzine sources have not managed to get confirmation.

What are Chelsea targeting this summer?

Marco Senesi is still interested in joining Chelsea on a free transfer, though he has held talks with Tottenham. Manchester United are also keeping tabs, but the Argentine is keen on living in London and has already rejected an approach from Juventus.

Club Brugge’s Joel Ordรณรฑez is a target for BlueCo, though it is unclear if he is seen as a Chelsea target or for Strasbourg. Meanwhile, Como’s Jacobo Ramon but a move for him could prove to be an issue as Real Madrid have a โ‚ฌ8 million buy-back clause and a 50% sell-on clause too.

Reports elsewhere suggested that Murillo was once again a target, but the Nottingham Forest star put an end to rumours by signing a new deal at the City Ground. Maxence Lacroix is another defender who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
