Manchester City took on Wolverhampton in the early kick-off on Sunday and went behind inside the first 10 minutes. Jørgen Strand Larsen scored from the home side’s first touch inside the box to increase the noise inside the Molineux.
Nelson Semedo had the chance to double their lead soon after Jose Sa’s incredible save to keep his side ahead, but the Portuguese defender could not keep his composure, and Ederson closed him down.
With Wolves sitting back and not given any space inside their box, Joško Gvardiol decided to take matters into his own hands. The defender scored a stunning goal from outside the box with his weak foot to level things up just after the half-hour mark.
Manchester City dominated the second half and had 11 shots in the game, while keeping their opponents down to just one attempt. The match looked set for a draw, but John Stones popped up in the box for a late corner and scored in the 95th minute.
