Tottenham vs Burnley Match Ratings: 3.5/5
Tottenham have kicked off their Premier League season with a comfortable win over Burnley at home. Richarlison was on the scoresheet twice, with new signing Mohammed Kudus providing both assists, before Brennan Johnson sealed the three points.
Thomas Frank’s side took the lead in the 10th minute, thanks to a beautiful finish from Richarlison. Kudus whipped the ball into the box, and the Brazilian striker was in the right place to slam it in. The two combined once again at the hour mark, and the striker scored a stunning goal to make it 2-0.
Johnson sealed the win just six minutes later with a neat finish past Martin Dubravka, after being put through on goal by Sarr. The win comes just days after their loss to PSG in the UEFA Super Cup final.
