Chelsea and Juventus open stunning swap deal talks
Chelsea and Juventus have opened talks to swap Jorginho and Miralem Pjanic according to Fabrizio Romano. The Italian journalist reports that Barcelona and PSG are also interested in the Juve star.
Jorginho has been at Chelsea for 2 seasons now and has impressed in both. However, the fans have not been keen on keeping him as Mateo Kovacic has proved to be better at that position.
Maurizio Sarri, who brought Jorginho to Chelsea from Napoli, is the driving force behind Juventus’ interest in the midfielder. The manager is keen on working with the Italian again and has asked the Serie A champions to get him.
Fabrizio Romano adds that Juve were keen on swapping Pjanic with Barcelona for Arthur. The Brazilian declined the move and thus they switched their attention to Jorginho.
Sarri is not a big fan of Pjanic and is looking to replace him at the Allianz Stadium. The 30-year-old is still a target for Barcelona while PSG are also keen on him as per Fabrizio.
