Everton identify Marco Silva’s replacement
Everton rumours: Toffees could sack their manager Marco Silva before the club faces Leicester City on Sunday according to Sky Sports. They are reporting that the club would look to replace him with David Moyes or Eddie Howe.
Last week Everton were beaten 2-0 by relegation zone side Norwich side, which has mounted further pressure on the Portuguese. The Toffees have just managed to win 2 games out of their last nine games and sit on 15th place just 4 points above the relegation zone.
David Moyes is being lined up by the club for a sensational return to Goodison Park. The Scot spent 11 years at Goodison Park before moving to Old Trafford in 2013, where he lasted less than a season.
Sky Sports also report that Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is preferred by some of the board members. Reports suggest that Howe was approached by the club in 2016 but he rejected the chance and the Toffees went for Ronald Koeman.

Marco Silva’s time at the club is indeed coming to an end and it is only a matter of time before he is sacked. David Moyes might be the best short-term replacement as he knows the club well with Eddie Howe coming in at the end of the season.
