3 first-team players out of Manchester United’s squad vs Huddersfield

Manchester United travel to Huddersfield Town today in a must-win game for the Red Devils. The Old Trafford side are 6th in the Premier League table and need a win at all costs against the relegated side to keep their top 4 hopes alive.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side cannot afford to drop points today as that would all but end their hopes for Champions League football next season. A win would not be enough as they would still need Chelsea and Arsenal to lose vs Watford and Brighton & Hove respectively.

Things have not gone United’s way lately and De Gea’s worst form in front of goal has made things even worse. Now, United have been dealt with a triple-injury blow.

Jesse Lingard, Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial will be missing the game vs Huddersfield Town. The trip have been left in Manchester and were not a part of the squad that traveled for the game.

Manchester United’s squad for their match vs Huddersfield:

Goalkeepers: David de Gea, Lee Grant

Defenders: Ashley Young, Diogo Dalot, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw

Midfielders: Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic, Andreas Pereira, James Garner, Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, Fred, Angel Gomes, Tahith Chong, Juan Mata

Forwards: Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford
