Liverpool star out until New Year
Liverpool news: Fabinho will be out of action until the New Year after suffering an injury against Napoli. Liverpool have confirmed that he has an ankle ligament damage after falling awkwardly during a challenge.
The Reds have also confirmed that the Brazilian won’t feature in the next few games. The tentative date for him is early January and that means he will miss all the fixtures in December.
Jurgen Klopp confirmed in his pre-match conference that the midfielder will be out for some time. He said that there was no tentative date for Fabinho’s return but Liverpool’s official website have mentioned it as the New Year.

The manager said: “That’s absolutely bad news. Nothing good to say about that. About a timeframe or how long it will take, we are not sure. But it looks pretty sure that he will not be involved in the Christmas fixtures, let me say it like this. It obviously takes a while.”
With Fabinho out, he will be missing the Club World Cup and the festive period. He will be missing the derby against Everton and the crucial Champions League fixture against RB Salzburg.
