Jaap Stam has urged Manchester United to sign Paul Pogba on a free transfer. He believes that the Frenchman still has a lot to offer and could make a difference this season.
Paul Pogba is a free agent after terminating his deal at Juventus earlier this season. He has been free to train with any club since January and is now close to the end of his suspension.
Stam was talking to Casinobeats when he stated that it would not be a surprise if Manchester United are not tempted to bring Pogba back. He added that the former Juventus midfielder has a lot of quality and is still capable of delivering on the pitch.
โI’ve seen clips from when Pogba played at United and I can tell you, he played some very good football. Heโs been amazing on the ball, with his quality he could really make a difference. So I wouldn’t be surprised if a club like United is tempted to ask him if he would like to join for a while. I mean there’s always the question of if he can deliver or not, if he can still produce but he’s got so much experience. He has so much quality, and that’s what we need.โ
Inter Miami have been linked with Pogba and the Frenchman has been dropping hints of a move to the MLS. He was also linked with Marseille, but the Ligue1 side have decided not to go ahead with it.
Fabrizio Romano spoke to GiveMeSport earlier this week and revealed that there was no interest from Manchester United in Paul Pogba. The midfielder has had two stints at Old Trafford before leaving for Juventus on a free transfer on both occasions.
