West Ham United eye move for Fulham & Crystal Palace target
West Ham United have entered the race for Emiliano Sala according to a report in the Daily Mirror. The English publication claims that Crystal Palace and Fulham have also set sights on the FC Nantes striker.
The 28-year-old has had a brilliant start to the season in Ligue 1 and has scored 11 goals in 14 apps. Only PSG superstars, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe have scored more than the Argentine in the French league this season.
Sala’s current deal expires in 2020 and Mirror report that the Ligue 1 side want ยฃ25 million from any club that wants to sig him. However, they also claim that the 3 Premier League sides are confident of getting the deal done for around ยฃ15โ20 million.
West Ham have Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez, Marko Arnautovic and Andy Carroll in their squad as out and out strikers and also have Michail Antonio as well to play in that position. However, with reports of Chicharito looking to leave and Manchester United keen on signing Arnautovic, the Hammers are getting backup plans ready.
