4 injured Tottenham stars return to training
Tottenham news: Four injured players have returned to training, Spurs have confirmed. Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessegnon, Kyle Walker-Peters and Eric Dier are all being assessed and could be available for selection this weekend.
Tottenham will be without Giovani Lo Celso after he suffered a hip injury during the International break. Juan Foyth will also be unavailable but he is recovering well from his injury.
Mauricio Pochettino has no other headache in terms of injury following the International break. Spurs take Crystal Palace at home this weekend and will be looking to get things back on track.
Tottenham have had below-par start to the season and have picked up just 5 points from their 4 matches so far. They won on the opening day against Aston Ville before drawing against Manchester City.
Newcastle United then stunned Spurs at home and walked away with all three points courtesy of Joelinton. The Lily Whites looked set to get back to winning ways at Arsenal but let go of a 2-0 lead to share points at the Emirates Stadium just before the International break.
Crystal Palace, meanwhile, are riding high on confidence after picking up wins against Manchester United and Aston Villa. The Eagles did lose to Sheffield United and dropped points vs Everton before the back-to-back wins in the Premier League.
