Juventus reignite interest in signing Real Madrid star
Real Madrid’s left-back Marcelo may be playing his last season at the Bernabeu. The Brazilian has attracted attention from various clubs across Europe.
Now Marca is reporting that Juventus are interested in bringing the left to back to Itlay to reunite him with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Turin giants showed interest in him two years ago but a move never really materialised. Though now the situation has changed for the Brazilian, as he is no longer a guaranteed starter for Los Blancos.
The Old Lady are willing to offer him a four-year contract. The club officials were expected to meet his representatives but due to the outbreak of coronavirus things have been paused.
The Bianconeri want to add more depth and quality to their full-backs area. The club currently has only Alex Sandro as a world-class full-back, while De Sciglio and Danilo but they are not at par with Sandro.
New summer signing Ferland Mendy has displaced the club legend at the left-back position. The Frenchman has been impressive and he has been praised for his defensive awareness, something for which Marcelo has been criticised in the past.
