Paris Saint-Germain are looking to sign David De Gea next summer according to reports in The Sun. The English newspaper claims that the Ligue 1 giants are not the only side interested in signing him and that Juventus are also monitoring his contract situation.

De Gea’s contract at Manchester United expires in the summer and he has not penned a new deal. Reports claim that he is looking to leave the club as they are no longer challenging for the title.

PSG signed Buffon on a 2-year deal in the summer and are looking for a long-term replacement. Alphonse Areola has not been trusted as the club’s #1 and they are looking to sign a World Class shot stopper next summer.

Juventus, meanwhile, have Wojciech Szczฤ™sny and Mattia Perin fighting for the #1 jersey right now but are not willing to let go of the chance to sign a player like De Gea.

The Spaniard has not been in top form ever since he conceded that dubious goal to Cristiano Ronaldo. However, they is no denying the fact that he is still one of the best goalkeepers in the world and has a lot of years left in him.

Rumour Ratings: 8/10

The Sun are usually unreliable and are knows to make up random rumours to get reads. However, PSG and Juventus are looking for a goalkeeper and when a player like David De Gea is available for free, it is no surprise that they will make a move for him.
