Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City – Player Ratings and Match Report

Nottingham Forest have stunned Manchester City at the City Ground. The home side picked up all three points thanks to a late goal from Callum Hudson-Odoi to seal the 1-0 win.

Manchester City dominated the first half but failed to make the most of their attempts. Pep Guardiola’s men had multiple chances to take the lead, but Nico Gonzalez came the closest with a long-range effort that hit the post and went behind.

The Cityzens continued to dominate possession in the second half but it was the same story once again. The were made to pay late in the game when Callum Hudson-Odoi popped up on the right side to beat Ederson at the near post.

The former Chelsea man’s goal was the difference in the match, and the result has seen Forest go 4 points clear of Manchester City in the 3rd place. They are now just 3 points behind 2nd placed Arsenal, while the Cityzens could slip 5th if Chelsea beat Leicester City on Sunday.
