3 managers who could replace Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham
Tottenham have stunned the world by announcing that Mauricio Poichettino has been sacked. The London side were the Champions League runners-up last season but following a poor start to this season, the Argentine and his coaching staff were relieved of their duties.
Now, Spurs are on the hunt for a Pochettino replacement and there are a few big names they are reportedly targeting. We take a look at the 3 best candidates who could become the next Tottenham manager:

#3 – Julian Nagelsmann
Julian Nagelsmann has just taken charge of RB Leipzig but Tottenham are reportedly interested in getting him. The former Hoffenheim manager is regarded as one of the best young managers in the world right now and there is no surprise that Spurs are targetting him.
However, it is very unlikely that the German would accept the role right now as he has just started his project at the Bundesliga side. It’s been less than 5 months at the helm for Nagelsmann and he is someone who rejected Real Madrid last summer because he wanted to work at Leipzig.
#2 – Eddie Howe
The AFC Bournemouth manager is one of the managers Arsenal were targetting to replace Arsene Wenger but went for Unai Emery when he became available. However, now with Spurs in the hunt for a manager, they might turn to the Englishman as he has all it takes to become their manager.
Eddie Howe is experienced, can work on a shoestring budget and can promote the youth when needed. He checks all the boxes for Daniel Levy and it won’t be a surprise if the Chairman makes the move for him.
#1 – Jose Mourinho
One thing that is missing at Tottnehma is winning mentality and that is something Jose Mourinho can bring to the club. Spurs have a talented squad but they have crumbled under pressure numerous times.
The former Chelsea and Manchester United manager is without a club and is a target for Arsenal. Spurs will be keen on agreeing a deal with him as he looks for a way back to the Premier League.
