Juventus eye Manchester United star on a free transfer
Man Utd rumours: Nemanja Matic is struggling for game time at Manchester United and this has alerted Juventus. Reports in The Sun suggest that the Serie A giants are looking to sign him next summer on a free transfer.
The Serbian has only made one appearance this season for the Red Devils, that too because Pogba was ruled out with injury. He played in the 1-0 win against Leicester City at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
Matic has lost his place in the starting line up to youngster Scott Mctominay. The former Chelsea midfielder has already expressed his frustration of not being selected in the starting line up by Ole Gunnar Solsjear.
“In the first two or three games, he picked the team without me. I work as hard as I can. We respect the decision, it’s up to me to show him that he was wrong and to bring me back to where I belong. There is no problem. I told him I disagreed with him but that he had to decide the team,” he said.
He joined Manchester United from Chelsea in a £40 million two years ago and has not signed another deal. Though his current contract expires next summer, but United have an option of extending it for another year.
