Manchester United ready to battle it out with Real Madrid for Bundesliga star

Erling Haaland has taken the footballing world by storm after his Champions League heroics for RB Salzburg which eventually helped him seal a move to Borussia Dortmund.

The Norwegian was linked with various clubs and despite his transfer to BVB speculation still continues to persist about his transfer. ESPN is reporting that Manchester United have joined Real Madrid in the race to sign the 19 year old.

He was close to a move to Old Trafford but he decided to join Dortmund to continue his development. In his contract with the Bundesliga giants there is a release clause as well which has alterted the likes of Real Madrid as well.

Lucien Favre’s side are heavily expected to lose Jadon Sancho next summer and they are desperate to keep hold off their priced asset in form of Haaland.

Los Blancos are in search of No.9 to ease the burden of an ageing Karim Benzema, while the Red Devils also need a new striker to bolster their forward line.
