Fulham 0-3 Arsenal: Arsenal managed to humble Fulham in the Premier League season opener at Craven Cottage. Mikel Arteta’s men took all three points thanks to a comfortable 3-0 win.
Alexandre Lacazette opened the scoring in the 8th minute after Rodak saved Willian’s shot from point-blank range. The Frenchman had to just tap it into an open net and Arsenal were up and running.
Fulham managed to hold out for the rest of the half with Arsenal coming close just once. Willian hit the post from a free-kick and was inches away from getting a goal on his Arsenal debut.
It took Arsenal just 4 minutes into the 2nd half to double their lead as the other debutant, Gabriel headed home from a Willian corner. The goal saw Fulham lose the little control they had on the game and make a lot of mistakes at the back.
Willian capped off his Arsenal debut with a stunning assist to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The striker scored a beauty to make it 3-0 to Arsenal and seal all three points.
