Everton have massive bid rejected for Wilfried Zaha
Everton have had yet another bid for Wilfried Zaha rejected according to Sy Sports. The report suggests that their bid was a massive £70 million plus Cenk Tosun and James McCarthy.
Crystal Palace have made it clear that they are not willing to let go of their prized asset cheaply and will only accept a bid over £80 million. Manchester United have a 25% sell-on clause in Zaha’s contract and that is reportedly the reason for the price being so high.
The Toffees were keen on signing him a few weeks back and had made a £60 million + Cenk Tosun bid for the Ivory Coast forward. Arsenal were also chasing him at that point and were willing to offer around €80 million but with the payment in instalments over the next 5 years.
The Gunners have ended their interest following the signing of Nicholas Pepe but Everton are still looking to get him to the Goodison Park despite signing Moise Kean. The Blues are also looking to sign a central defender this summer and had made a bid for Kurt Zouma.
Chelsea rejected the bid after talks between Lampard and the French defender were fruitful. Other reports suggested that Everton were offered Fikayo Tomori on loan but nothing has materialized.

Sky Sports, along with various other sources, are reporting this and it looks like Palace will be keeping Zaha at the club for another season. Chelsea were also linked with the forward but any move from The Blues will only take place next summer as they have transfer ban right now.
