Everton 2-2 Manchester United – Player Ratings and Match Report

Manchester United have escaped with a 2-2 draw at Everton after a dramatic finish to the game. The Red Devils were 2-0 down with less than 20 minutes to go, but managed to pull off a draw.

Beto scored for Everton inside the first 20 minutes of the game before Dourcoure made it 2-0 just after the half-hour mark. The Red Devils struggled to get into the game and failed to get a single shot on target in the first 70 minutes of the match.

Bruno Fernandes pulled one back for Manchester United with their first shot on target โ€“ a free kick from outside the box. Jordan Pickford was caught wrong-footed on the line and that made it 2-1 with less than 20 minutes to play.

Manuel Ugarte got his first goal for the Red Devils with a stunning volley from just inside the box in the 80th minute to make it 2-2. The talking point of the game came in injury time when Everton were awarded a penalty for a foul from Harry Maguire on Ashley Young, but VAR deemed that no foul had been committed and overturned the decision.
