Daniele Rugani tested positive for Coronavirus
Juventus news: Daniele Rugani has been tested positive for Coronavirus. The Juventus defender will be in isolation for the suggested period of time.
All those who have been in contact with the defender are also set to be tested as per the Serie A club.
Italy have already suspended all sporting activities until mid-April. However, Juventus’ clash with Lyon in the Champions League is yet to be postponed.
The match is reportedly set to be played behind closed doors at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
Lyon president, Jean-Michel Aulas revealed that the match that is set to take place next Tuesday will do ahead.
“Juventus have confirmed to us that we will play on Tuesday night behind closed doors in Turin. This has been confirmed by UEFA.
The Italian Prime Minister had said that no matches could be played, but then said that this pertained to matches at a national level and not at an international level.
What worries us, are the somewhat uneven provisions. And for international matches, bizarrely, visiting teams are not protected…”
