Chelsea in talks to sign striker with 10 goals in 19 matches – Reports
Chelsea are reportedly in advanced talks to sign Milos Lukovic from FK IMT Belgrad. The Blues previously had a £4 million bid rejected by the Serbian club.
Chelsea’s plan to buy young players who can develop into stars of the game tomorrow continues and they have landed in Serbia. They have set sights on Lukovic, who has scored 10 goals in 19 matches for FK IMT Belgrad this season.
The 18-year-old striker is close to joining after the recruitment team flew to hold talks directly with the Serbian side, as per The Secret Scout. The SuperLiga side are looking for a sell-on clause and are working on getting a deal done.
Lukovic will be heading to Strasbourg on loan as per TSS, but L’Equipe claim the striker will be joining the Ligue1 side on a permanent deal. Chelsea currently have all of their foreign loan spots occupied and will need to recall one of their players before sending the Serbian to France.
