Jose Mourinho takes a dig at Antonio Rudiger after Tottenham’s 2-0 loss to Chelsea
Chelsea news: Jose Mourinho was not happy with Antonio Rudiger’s reaction that lead to Heung-Min Son’s sending off. The Tottenham manager sarcastically wished the German defender a quick recovery from the broken ribs.
Mourinho was talking in his pre-match interview when he took the dig at Rudiger. The Spurs manager said:
“I hope that Rudiger recovers quick from the broken ribs. Because for sure he’ll have few broken ribs.”
Mourinho is not a manager to accept a defeat well despite getting outwitted by Frank Lampard from start to finish. The Spurs were surprised by Chelsea with a 3 at the back formation and the home side could not do anything to get behind the rock-solid defence.
Chelsea took the lead from a stunning goal by Willian and the Brazilian made it 2-0 from the spot right at half-time. The things became worse int eh 2nd half as Tottenham’s momentum was broken after Son got sent off.
Unfortunately, the German defender was the subject of some racial chants by the Tottenham fans following the incident
