Chelsea eye move for four players before Janaury transfer deadline – Reports
Chelsea are plotting moves for four more players in the January transfer window. The Blues are keen on Anthony Gordon, Amadou Onana, Malo Gusto and Enzo Fernández.
As per Matt Law of The Telegraph, Chelsea are far from done in the transfer window. Despite having already roped in David Fofana, Mykhailo Mudryk, Benoit Badiashile, Noni Madueke, Andrey Santos, and Joao Felix (loan), the new recruitment team are looking to add more players.
The report suggests Everton duo Gordon and Onana are the new targets on the radar. The Toffees are in the relegation zone and have just sacked Frank Lampard.
Gordon was a target for Chelsea last summer as well and had made a bid to sign the Englishman. Reports suggested that the Blues had a £60 million bid rejected for the forward, who is yet to sign a new deal at Goodison Park.
Onana has been highly rated for a while, and Everton beat West Ham United to sign him in the summer. They paid £33 million to sign the Belgian from Lille and could demand a similar fee to let go of him.
Malo Gusto of Lyon remains on Chelsea’s radar and the Blues have tabled a bid for the right back. However, Sébastien Denis of Foot Mercato has reported that the Ligue1 side have rejected the bid.
Enzo Fernández is the final name on the radar and Blues have been chasing him this month. The have tabled a new €100 million bid earlier today, as per Record.
