Chelsea agree €45 million deal for Ajax star
Chelsea rumours: Hakim Ziyuech is on his way to Chelsea according to Telegraaf. Ther highly reliable Dutch source report that the Premier League side have agreed a €45 million deal with Ajax.
Telegraaf’s Mike Verweij reports that the deal was agreed in the last 24 hours. However, he reports that nothing has been signed yet and Ajax are still open to offers from other clubs.
Chelsea are currently the only club in negotiations with Ajax and are looking to get the deal done soon. €45 million for the 26-year-old seems like a bargain in this market and other clubs could swoop in soon.
Ziyech also has a big decision to make and he has not agreed terms with Chelsea yet, as per the report. Mike Verweij adds that the Moroccan player is open to the move but is still waiting for the season to end.
The Ajax star is seen as a direct replacement for Pedro who is set to leave the club soon. The Spaniard is in the final months of his contract at Stamford Bridge and will not be offered a new deal as per reports.
