Sources: Bayern Munich ‘in talks’ with Niko Kovac’s replacement
Bayern Munich rumours: Bayern Munich have begun talks with Paris Saint-Germain for Thomas Tuchel as per our sources at the German club. The Bundesliga champions are on the lookouts for a new manager after they parted ways with Niko Kovac on Sunday.
Tuchel was at Borussia Dortmund before he moved to PSG and Bayern believe that he has enough experience to get them back to their best. The board have already spoken to Ralf Rangnick but he has not come to terms with them.
PSG are not willing to part ways with Tucehl just yet has he still has his plans in place at the club. Reports suggested last season that he would be sacked by the club after a terrible display against Manchester United in the Champions League.
However, they have kept faith in him and the side are doing well this season. They have even managed to keep the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe at the club while also bringing in Mauro Icardi who has settled in well.
Bayern are in desperate need of a top manager and are not interested in Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger. Both managers are currently available but the German side are looking for someone who can be at the club for a long time, and not just as an interim manager.
Ajax’s Erik ten Hag and Hansi Flick are the other candidates to get the managerial job at Bayern Munich.
