Barcelona ‘keen on signing’ Manchester City star

Barcelona have set sights on signing Bernardo Silva if Frenkie de Jong moves to Manchester United.

Xavi is reportedly keen on getting a replacement and sees the Manchester City star as the ideal fit. Last summer, the Portuguese star was looking to leave Etihad but stayed for another season.

Things could change once again this summer if the Catalan club come calling. Bernardo has not comminuted his future to City and has left it open. Barca are looking to raise funds, and the board believes De Jong is the most sellable asset.

Reports suggest they are looking for over €90 million for the Dutchman. Manchester United are said to be leading the race while ManCity have also been linked with him. PSG and Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on the situation and could make a move when the time comes.

De Jong is yet to make a decision on his future but reportedly wants to stay at Camp Nou.
