Arsenal eye stunning replacement for Unai Emery
Arsenal Rumours: Arsenal are in talks to get Nuno Espírito Santo according to Di Marzio. The report claims that the Gunners have already held talks with Wolverhampton for their manager.
Rumours in the United Kingdom suggested that Nuno is open to managing Arsenal and is interested in taking the job if offered. The manager has been doing a great job at Wolverhampton and has guided them into the Europa League knockout stages this season.
Di Marzio also adds that Nuno’s agent, Jorge Mendes and Arsenal head of Football, Raul Sanllehi have been in talks as well. If Nuno is not lured away from Wolves, the other option is reportedly Mikel Arteta.
Arsenal sacked Unai Emery earlier this morning and have revealed that Freddie Ljungberg will be in charge for the time being. The players were informed of the news after Unai Emery took charge of the first training session this morning.
David Ornstein has revealed that the manager had no clue that he was going to be sacked today. The former BBC journalist also reported that he was preparing his team for the Norwich City clash this weekend when he got the message.
