Arsenal loanee questions Unai Emery’s tactics
Arsenal news: Henrikh Mkhitaryan has slammed Unai Emery for his tactics at Arsenal. The Armenian was talking to FourFourTwo when he revealed he was unhappy with the tactics at the club.
The former Manchester United star has been doing decently well at the Serie A side but has started just 3 games. He’s got a goal and an assist so far.
During an interview with FourFourTwo, the former Manchester United star said:
“He paid more attention to tactics, so my role changed. I was starting as a winger, but had to build play with the defensive midfielder. It’s why I couldn’t contribute as many goals or assists.”
Unai Emery is under pressure to deliver at Arsenal and the fans have lost faith in him. The manager was on the verge of getting sacked but the Arsenal board have reportedly changed their minds.
The Athletic report that the club have no plans to sack the manager in the international break. The job is safe until the end of the season as per the report.
