Chelsea eye surprise move for Premier League forward – Reports
Chelsea are reportedly eyeing a move for Fulham star Aleksander Mitrovic in the summer. The Blues are keen on signing a striker and see the Serbian as the ideal fit for their squad.
As per a report inย Todofichajes, Chelsea are keeping tabs on 28-year-old striker Mitrovic to bolster their attack. The Cottagers are in no hurry to sell the forward as his contract does not expire until 2026.
Graham Potter’s sides have struggled for goals this season and their current record is dreadful. They have managed just one goal in the last six matches in all competitions and it came in a 1-1 draw against West Ham United.
Mitrovic has scored 11 goals in the 19 matches he has played this season in the league. The move is likely as a replacement for Aubameyang, who has not impressed this season.
Thomas Tuchel signed the forward from Barcelona on deadline day in the summer to add firepower to his attack.
However, the striker has not done enough and was dropped from the UEFA Champions League squad by Graham Potter.
