Chelsea ‘eye move for £30 million rated’ Declan Rice alternative
Chelsea are reportedly interested in singing Ibrahim Sangare from PSV this summer. The Blues see the Ivory Coast star as the alternative to Declan Rice, who is being priced out of a move by West Ham United.
As per a report in Daily Mirror, Thomas Tuchel’s side have set sights on getting Sangare from PSV. They claim the 24-year-old will cost around £30 million this summer.
Chelsea need a midfielder signed this summer as Jorginho and Kante are heading towards the end of their contracts. Reports suggest at least one of two will be leaving, thus making them sign Sangare as the replacement.
Apart from Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United are also said to be keen on signing the midfielder who has impressed in the Eredivise this season.
Tuchel has been looking to bring in a midfielder since last summer and only managed to get Saul Niguez on loan. The Blues are keen on backing their manager in the summer as the rebuild continues.
Chelsea will also need to get in new defenders as the majority of their backline is on the way out. Antonio Rudiger is heading to Real Madrid, while Christensen has a deal agreed with Barcelona and could be joined by Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso.
