Manchester United eye move for Juventus star
Manchester United have inquired about signing Federico Bernardeschi according to Tuttosport. The Italian newspaper reports that the Juventus star is Plan B if the Red Devils fail to sign Jadon Sancho.
Reports suggest Sancho is set to cost over £100 million and Manchester United are trying to reduce the fee. However, Borussia Dortmund are refusing to decrease their asking price and thus the Red Devils are keeping their backup options ready.
Bernardeschi reportedly has ‘tactical misunderstanding’ and ‘lukewarm feeling’ with Maurizio Sarri as per Tuttosport. They claim that he would be open to a move away from Juventus if things do not improve for him.
The Italian’s contract at Juventus has 2 years left and there are no talks of a new deal. Should a right offer come in, the Serie A champions might be open to the sale as per the same report.
Daily Mail add that a fee over £30 million would be tempting for Juve and it would be less than 1/3rd of what Sancho would cost.
