Real Madrid prepare stunning swap deal for Dortmund star
Erling Haaland came into the limelight this season when he was playing for Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League. The youngster’s great goal scoring form earned him a move to Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window.
However, his arrival at Dortmund has not deterred Real Madrid to sign him in the next transfer window. Spanish outlet Marca is reporting that Los Blancos are planning a swap deal for Haaland.
Florentino Perez plans to tempt BVB by offering them former Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic in a swap deal for Erling Haaland.
Jovic was one of the best forwards last season in Europe when he scored 27 goals for Frankfurt in all competitions. Real Madrid forked out €60 million to bring him to the Bernabeu.
Things haven’t gone as per plan for Jovic as he has struggled to score goals and get regular minutes under Zinedine Zidane. The Serbian was also in the news for breaking lockdown rules in Serbia, which angered the chiefs at Real Madrid and he faced a lot of criticism for his actions as well.
While Haaland carried his goal-scoring form from Salzburg to Dortmund as he continues to score goals for the Bundesliga giants. The Norwegian has scored 12 goals for Dortmund in only 11 appearances.
