Arsenal eye £23m move for Eredivisie midfielder
After a disappointing 2019/20 campaign, Arsenal have already set their sights on next season and are drawing up a shortlist of players to target in the summer.
According to reports, the Gunners are keen on making a move for Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu.
Kokcu has put in a string of impressive performances for the Dutch club and Arsenal technical director Edu is reportedly keen on completing a £23 million move for the 19-year-old before the commencement of the 2020 Euros.
Kokcu’s current contract runs until 2023 but he has already begun to attract the attention of several top clubs with his world-class displays.
He is expected to star for Turkey in the upcoming Euros which would put him under an even larger spotlight in the summer transfer window. In order to avoid battling other clubs for his signature, Arsenal are believed to be keen on wrapping up a deal for the youngster before the Euros begin.
