6 Chelsea players ruled out of Liverpool clash
Chelsea news: Frank Lampard has confirmed that as many as 6 first-team players will be missing the FA Cup clash against Liverpool tomorrow night. Andreas Christensen, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic, Tammy Abraham, Callum Hudson-Odoi and N’Golo Kante are the ones unavailable.
The Chelsea manager has revealed that Christiensen has a ‘small issue’ that probably ruled him out of tomorrow’s match. Loftus-Cheek, on the other hand, is set to play in the U23’s match tonight and it will be his first start since his injury last year.
Pulisic and Kante are yet to recover from their injuries and there is no timeline on when they will be back in action. As for Tammy Abraham, the striker injured himself in the warn down after the Bayern Munich match at Stamford Bridge and is set to travel to Barcelona for treatment.
Hudson-Odoi is close to regaining full fitness but is yet to recover completely. He is expected to be fit in time for the match against Everton on Sunday.
