Sources: Arsenal’s final 3 candidates to replace Unai Emery
Arsenal rumours: Arsenal have narrowed down to 3 candidates to replace Unai Emery as per our sources at the club. Mikel Arteta, Niko Kovac and Marcelino are said to be the final candidates.
Unai Emery was sacked by Arsenal on November 29th after a poor run of form. The Gunners have appointed Freddie Ljungberg as the caretaker manager and he has not done well as well.
Kovac was sacked by Bayern Munich earlier this season while Mikel Arteta os currently the assistant manager at Manchester City. Marcelino was also sacked earlier this season by Valencia after a falling out with the owners.

Arsenal are now accelerating their manager hunt and have a series of meetings set this week. The board are planning to hold multiple interviews with the three candidates and then decide soon.
The Gunners were interested in Jose Mourinho and Ralf Rangnick but failed to convince both of them. Mourinho is now the manager of Tottenham Hotspur while Rangnick is still without a club.
