Arsenal rumours: Mesut Özil is reportedly set to end his nightmare at Arsenal and leave in January. Reports today suggest that the German midfielder is ‘in talks’ with Turkish side, Fenerbahçe.
The former Real Madrid star has not been in the Arsenal XI for a long time now, and Unai Emery is not keen on using him. The midfielder is has started just 2 games this season, and the Gooners are not happy with their manager.
Reports suggest the manager is not happy with Ozil’s attitude in training, and that is why he is not being picked. He was reportedly told he was free to leave in the summer but his £350 per week wages made his exit difficult.

While Ozil could be in line to leave in January, a move to Turkey might be a huge step down for him right now. He has fallen out of favour with Unai Emery but he still has a lot to offer and could be a great addition to a Serie A or Bundesliga side.
