Manchester United agree deal for Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United have agreed a ยฃ50 million deal with Crystal Palace for Aaron Wan-Bissaka according to David Ornstein. The BBC journalist reports that the 21-year-old will be travelling for his medical soon and will put pen to a long term deal.

The Red Devils have been chasing the young Englishman for the past few weeks and had a ยฃ40 million rejected. Palace were looking for ยฃ50 million and reports suggested that they rejected the 2nd bid of ยฃ35 million plus ยฃยฃ15 million bonuses as well.

ESPN and Independent have also confirmed the report and added that United will pay an initial fee of ยฃ45 million with ยฃ5 million as add-ons.

There were reports that United were ready to let go of the 25% sell-on clause they have on Zaha’s deal when he returned to Palace in 2015. However, Ornstein reports that the clause remains intact and nothing has changed in that front.

Wan-Bissaka will see his wages go up from ยฃ10,000 a week to around ยฃ80,000 a week as per the report. Palace are now expected to make a move for Norwich City’s 19-year-old full-back, Max Aarons.
