Everton eye £35M move for former Chelsea target
After a rocky start, Marco Silva has steadied the ship at Everton. The manager has already confirmed that the Toffees are working on a deal to sign Kurt Zouma and Andre Silva permanently but that would not be the only business they do this summer.
Reports today suggest that Everton are eyeing a move for Callum Wilson this summer. Bournemouth striker is the final piece in the puzzle as Silva aims for a spot in the Premier League top 6.
Toffees are lining up a £35 million bid for the striker who was a target for Chelsea in January. The Blues were keen on signing him but Bournemouth were reluctant to enter into any negotiations. An injury to the Englishman derailed the move completely.
Marco Silva is keen on completing the transfer business as soon as possible but has been told that he needs to clear out some deadwood. The manager is reportedly willing to sell Cenk Tosun, Oumar Niasse, Yannick Bolasie, Nikola Vlasic, Sandro Ramirez and Cuco Martina this summer but wants to keep hold of Idrissa Gueye and Richarlison at all costs.
PSG are reportedly looking to sign both Gueye and Richarlison this summer. Reports suggest that the Toffees are asking for more than £100 million for the duo.
Rumour Ratings: 7/10
Everton do need a striker as Dominic Calvert-Lewin is too young to lead the attack right now. Cenk Tosun hasn’t performed the way he was expected to and will go down as an Everton flop.
