Manchester United’s 2019/20 home kit leaked
Manchester United‘s 2019/20 home kit has been leaked online and it looks amazing. Not only have Adidas gone for a simple design, they have made some incredible changes to mark the 20th anniversary of thee 1999/20 Champions League win.
The jersey is set to be plain red with just a black line along the collar. There are two lines of very light grey on the shoulders but they are hardly seen.
The most notable change on the jersey is the crest. It will be a black & silver crest this time with a shield around it. All this because of the Champions League triumph in 1999/00 season.
Footy Headlines are the ones who have got their hands on the new design and it looks like this:
Manchester United’s place in the Champions League next season is still in the balance as they have not secured a top 4 place yet. Another way for them to get into the competition would be by winning it this season โ they face Barcelona in the Q-Finals.
20 years after scoring the winning goals, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be leading the team as the permanent manager. The Norwegian signed a three year deal yesterday after impressing in the last few months.
Solskjaer was appointed as the interim manager after the sacking of Jose Mourinho in December. Mauricio Pochettino and Zinedine Zidane were the main targets but with the former Red Devils forward impressing, they opted to let him have the permanent role.
