Tottenham vs West Ham United Player Ratings and Match Report

Tottenham came from behind to beat West Ham United as the Premier League returned after the international break. Mohamed Kudus was the hero and villain for the Hammers, while Ange Postecoglou’s men ran riot in the second half.

Kudus opened the scoring for West Ham United just minutes after Guglielmo Vicario denied him with a strong save. The Hammers were ahead for just 18 minutes and missed a couple of good chances to double the lead.

Dejan Kulusevski leveled things up for the home side before the break, and it was all Tottenham, but they, too, failed to make the most of their chances in the final minutes of the first half. The two sides went into the break level on terms with all to play for in the second half.

Tottenham started the second half in stunning fashion and left West Ham United clueless. Yves Bissouma and Son Heung-min scored in quick succession with an own goal making things worse for the away side.

Spurs were 4-1 ahead in the 60th minute, and they managed to keep the scoreline intact until the end. Kudus was in the spotlight again towards the end of the game, but this time, he got sent off for kicking out and then punching Micky van de Ven, while Pape Matar Sarr also got a shove in the face from the former Ajax star.
