“Simple as that” – Jamie O’Hara claims Chelsea star will never be world-class
Jamie O’Hara has sensationally claimed that Chelsea star Nicolas Jackson will never be world-class.
O’Hara stated that the Chelsea forward has the potential but still does not believe that the Senegal star will be the one to lead a top side in the Premier League.
Speaking on talkSPORT, the former Tottenham star was quick to claim that he does not see Jackson turning into one of the best in the league. He added that the striker is good and said:
“He’s not going to be world-class… I like him. I think he’s good. He’s got potential. Do I believe he’s ever going to be a star striker in the Premier League that Chelsea need if you want to compete at the top of the table? The best teams in the Premier League are the ones that have got the best strikers. Simple as that. Nicolas Jackson I don’t think is going to be that.”
Chelsea signed Jacosn from Villarreal last summer after he scored 13 goals in 38 matches for the Spanish side. The Blues paid a reported £32 million for the Senegal star after selling Kai Havertz to Arsenal for £65 million.
The forward has already scored 12 goals for Chelsea this season in 31 matches. He has three assists as well to his name, along with 9 yellow cards in the league.
